As children we step into most things without fear. The world is unknown and we explore it. Then someone corrects us, laughs at us, interrupts or silences us, and through school and other experiences we start to doubt ourselves, our voice and what we have to say.
It is not the same for everyone, but it is a good starting point. In training we work on voice, speech and performance, and on what sits underneath: the patterns that hold us back and the way we actually want to speak.
For anyone who wants to change something in the way they communicate, perform and express themselves, regardless of age, experience or profession. Managers, entrepreneurs and experts who step in front of an audience or a camera, and anyone who wants to get to know their own voice.
Every workshop and training is custom made, for a person or a group. First we define the needs and the goals, then through conversation, analysis, exercises and questions we explore what makes sense for these particular people. One-on-one or in groups, preferably in person, online when needed.
Voice and breathing, diction, pace and pauses, the structure of your message, working with a microphone and camera. Along with that: becoming aware of your own patterns, listening to yourself, connecting voice, body, thought and intention, handling the unexpected, and finding your own way of expressing yourself.
I do not promise that stage fright disappears after a few sessions. I promise a process: hearing yourself, expressing yourself more freely, using your voice and body with more confidence, and finding your own path instead of copying someone else’s.
What I pass on comes from more than twenty years of working with voice and body: in the studio, on the radio, on stage and with people. Thirteen years in radio shaped my relationship with voice, speech and communication.
I do not believe there is one formula for a good performance. Our voice and the way we use it, together with the body, the intention and the situation, is not something to copy from others. It is something we can get to know and develop.
So I do not offer ready-made answers. I would rather ask questions and open a way of thinking that leads you to your own answers and untangles what holds you back. Everyone has their own knot, and not every knot comes undone the same way.
