About

Katarina Moškatelo

Being heard since 1982 ©

I was born on the island of Hvar, in a small village where everyone gets heard. At ten I organised the village’s first children’s festival — and I’ve known ever since that I wanted to work with voice and people.

I spent years as a tour guide and a radio host in Split and Zagreb: more than a decade live on air taught me how a voice holds attention, how to sound natural, and how not to stumble when the red light is on. I trained my voice at Project 6 Studio and with professor Neda Čurčić, and studied acting in a multi-year drama programme — because good voice-over isn’t reading, it’s playing.

Today I host and moderate conferences, forums and congresses, record commercials, narration and dubbing for agencies, production houses and brands in Croatia and the region, and help people feel at home in front of an audience. I also record audiobooks for the blind and visually impaired — one of the jobs I love most.

When I’m not working I travel, cook and read. I also started KiloMetri, Croatia’s first travel podcast, because I enjoy other people’s stories as much as telling my own.
